China Southern Air Shuttle Upgraded Services Span 13 Popular Domestic Destinations

March 23, 2023 - China Southern Airlines held a brand release conference on March 23, 2023 under the theme "Free Flying, Happy Journey" for the launch of newly upgraded brand services, "China Southern Air Shuttle", which will be available during the 2023 IATA Summer Season.

Starting from March 26, China’s civil aviation industry will implement the flight schedule for the 2023 IATA Summer Season. In addition to continued construction of the Guangzhou-Beijing "dual hubs", optimization of domestic route network and resumption of international and regional flights, China Southern will launch the upgraded "China Southern Air Shuttle" services during the new travel season. It is an important initiative taken by China Southern to enhance service standards and provide passengers with exceptional whole-process travel experience.

The "China Southern Air Shuttle" brand services span 15 routes to 13 popular domestic destinations, including Guangzhou-Beijing/Shanghai/Hangzhou/Chengdu/Wuhan/Xi'an/Kunming/Chongqing/Zhengzhou/Nanjing, Beijing-Shenzhen/Chengdu/Changsha, Shenzhen-Shanghai/Hangzhou and other major domestic routes that cater to  business travelers’ needs.

The upgraded services cover various links of air travel, including flight schedules, ticketing services, ground services, passenger rights and interests as well as in-flight meals, which reflect the positive outcomes of China Southern’s efforts to build the Guangzhou-Beijing “dual hubs” in recent years. "China Southern Air Shuttle" also represents further enhancement to China Southern's operational service quality, offering passengers a sense of happiness and fulfillment with a fresh and hassle-free travel experience.

By providing efficient and convenient air travel services, "China Southern Air Shuttle" will offer continued improvement in route structure, flight frequencies, slot distribution and operational support. Additional flight frequencies are available on all the point-to-point direct routes included in "China Southern Air Shuttle", with more than 16, or even up to 32 round-trip flights per day. Departure times are evenly distributed from morning to evening peak hours with high on-time performance rates to meet passengers’travel needs.

To further enhance passengers’travel efficiency and shorten walking and queuing time, China Southern will provide priority check-in, fast security check, easy boarding, full-process baggage inquiry and convenient baggage claim for “Air Shuttle" flights. Concurrently, upgrades will be made to China Southern's in-flight services, including faster update to in-flight meals and increased variety of local cuisine selections. "China Southern Air Shuttle" also features an upgraded ticketing service where passengers who meet certain class conditions can change to the same flight segment free of charge, or transfer at designated airports.

Coupons to airport lounges, priority boarding and hotel privileges are also available to“Air Shuttle”passengers, so that they can experience the new value-added services. For business travelers with high demand on travel times who need baggage services, the "Baggage to Home" delivery service will also be provided.
