China Southern Signs a Special Prorate Agreement with Kenya Airways to Expand Network Cooperation

April 28, 2023 - China Southern Airlines and Kenya Airways recently re-signed a Special Prorate Agreement (SPA) that will offer additional interlining routes between China and Africa, giving passengers more options of destinations. This is a key step for China Southern to expand its international partners and enhance its international influence.

China Southern will further tap into the African market thanks to the partnership. Through seamless flight transfer at the Nairobi hub, China Southern passengers can connect to 40 destinations in Africa, including Dar es Salaam, Entebbe, Kigali, Kinshasa, Bujumbura, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Douala, Mauritius and other popular cities.

At the same time, China Southern will also provide Kenya Airways passengers with flights to 36 Chinese destinations including Shanghai, Chongqing, Changsha and Chengdu, as well as 12 international destinations including Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.
