China Southern Will Open Multiple Direct Routes from China to Thailand
June 29, 2023 - In July, China Southern Airlines will launch new international routes from Jieyang, Wuhan and Nanning to Thailand’s Don Mueang Airport, in preparation for the peak summer tourism season. During this time, China Southern will operate a total of 47 round-trip flights to Thailand per week.
Bangkok, Thailand not only boasts beautiful and charming tropical scenery but also has a rich Buddhist culture and unique folk customs. Bangkok has two airports, Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang Airport, and China Southern operates flights at both airports. China Southern is committed to enhancing its international operational capabilities and promoting high-quality development. It will successively open multiple routes from domestic destinations to Thailand’s Don Mueang Airport, continuously meeting the travel needs of passengers.
From July 4, an international route will be opened from Jieyang Chaoshan Airport to Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport. Three round-trip flights will be operated per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The outbound flight CZ5067 departs from Jieyang Chaoshan Airport at 9:25 Beijing time and arrives at Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 11:25 local time. The return flight CZ5068 departs from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 12:55 local time and arrives at Jieyang Chaoshan Airport at 16:55 Beijing time. The flight duration is approximately 3 hours and it will be operated with a Boeing 737 aircraft.
From July 6, an international route will be opened from Wuhan Tianhe Airport to Bangkoks Don Mueang Airport in Thailand, which will be operated on a daily basis. The outbound flight CZ5035 departs from Wuhan Tianhe Airport at 22:30 Beijing time and arrives at Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 1:10 local time the next day. The return flight CZ5036 departs from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 2:40 local time and arrives at Wuhan Tianhe Airport at 7:00 Beijing time. The flight duration is approximately 3.5 hours and it will be operated with a Boeing 737 aircraft.
From July 10, an international route will be opened from Nanning Wuxu Airport to Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport in Thailand. There will be four round-trip flights every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. From August 1, the flight frequency will be increased to one daily flight. The outbound flight CZ5057 departs from Nanning Wuxu Airport at 10:00 Beijing time and arrives at Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 11:35 local time. The return flight CZ5058 departs from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport at 12:45 local time and arrives at Nanning Wuxu Airport at 16:20 Beijing time. The flight duration is approximately 2.5 hours, and it will be operated with a Boeing 737 aircraft.
